Pace University Athletics

Alexis Thompson has been named the Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance in August of 2024.

In her new role at Pace University, Thompson will oversee the operations of the compliance department for all 15 athletic programs. She will oversee eligibility, rules education, NCAA reporting, and serve as the liaison between Pace Athletics, the Northeast 10 (NE10) Conference Compliance department and the NCAA.

Thompson returns to Pace after spending a year at Iona University as an Athletics Facilities Assistant where she assisted with the set up and break down of all home events, maintained management of all athletic vehicles and provided game day support.

In 2021-22, Thompson served as the Coordinator for Student-Athlete Support Services at Pace University, where she oversaw complimentary ticketing for Football, Men’s Basketball, and Women’s Basketball. She worked closely with compliance, academics, and finance assisting with eligibility, EADA reporting, and graduation rates.

Thompson graduated with a Master of Professional Studies in Sport Management from St. John’s University in 2023. A former women’s basketball athlete, Thompson graduated from the College of Mount Saint Vincent (now University of Mount Saint Vincent) with her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 2021.
