Pace University Athletics

Carrie Hurlman, M.Ed, ATC, LAT joined the Pace Athletics staff as the Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Medicine in August 2023. 

Hurlman comes to the Setters after eight years at University of Rhode Island where she worked primarily with the women’s soccer and rowing teams as the associate athletic trainer. In addition to her athletic training duties and collaboration with the strength and conditioning staff, she acted as the insurance coordinator.
 
Prior to her time with the Rams, Hurlman she served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer with the Providence College Friars from 2014-16. While earning her Master's degree in counseling, she worked with the women's soccer and softball programs.
 
A native of Middletown, N.Y., Hurlman arrived in Rhode Island after graduating from SUNY Cortland in 2012, having earned her bachelor’s degree in athletic training. There she worked with women's gymnastics, men's lacrosse and football. Additionally, Hurlman spent two years as an intern athletic trainer at Bryant, working with women's volleyball, women's lacrosse and men's and women's tennis.
 
Hurlman currently resides in Yonkers, N.Y. with her wife Bridget.
