Tim Bausher

Tim Bausher was hired as a Pace Baseball Assistant Coach in December of 2018. In the 2026 campaign, Bausher will enter his seventh season as assistant coach of the Blue and Gold bringing extensive baseball knowledge to the squad.

Bausher brings an extensive baseball history to Pleasantville, including a standout college career and seven years of professional experience. A 2003 graduate of Kutztown University, Bausher is one of the most illustrious pitchers in Bears’ history. He was tabbed a third-team All-American in 2001 after being named both the PSAC East Athlete of the Year and the ECAC Player of the Year. Bausher was also selected as Kutztown’s Male Athlete of the Year.

Following his stellar 2001 season, Bausher was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the 27th round of the 2011 MLB amateur draft, beginning a seven-year career in professional baseball.

Bausher was a member of the Mariners, Milwaukee Brewers, Colorado Rockies, Boston Red Sox, Cincinnati Reds, and Kanas City Royals organizations from 2001 to 2007. He was rated the Brewers’ 19th best prospect in 2004 by Baseball America, and made his major league debut in 2005 with the Red Sox.

In 2008, Bausher made the move to coaching and instructing. In addition to giving hundreds of private lessons each year, he has served as assistant coach for the Caldwell Legion baseball team. Since 2014, he has been the head coach of the New Jersey Nationals baseball club.
